Sometimes a user of your WordPress website needs to be deleted. Either this user is no longer using your website or maybe the user is one you added during a testing process and you need to delete the user in order to conduct further testing with the same user.
Here's how you do it:
- Login with your administrator username or email. Your login page is typically your domain followed by /wp-admin ( <yourdomain.com/wp-admin> ).
- After login, you land in the "Dashboard". Look along the left column for "Users". The left column is that dark column.
- Click on Users. A list of users is returned.
- Find the User in question.
- Hover over the user's name and the option to "delete" is revealed. Click "delete".
- Sometimes, the user is associated with content created by said user. When deleting the user you will be prompted to delete associated content or reassign content to another user. Make that selection.
- Click the "Confirm Deletion" button. Done.
